Priorities for Otepoti/Dunedin

Standing for the Council in Dunedin, I'm committed to addressing the key issues that matter most to the people of Otepoti. Here's a look at my priorities for our city.

Top 3 Priorities

My top three priorities for Otepoti/Dunedin are: addressing our aging infrastructure, lowering the city's debt, and tackling climate change. These are crucial for ensuring a sustainable and thriving future for all residents.

A Big Change for Dunedin

If I could wave a magic wand, I'd focus on keeping rates down, get the debt paid, infrastructure, Coastal erosion,South Dunedin, improving parking in the inner city. These changes would directly benefit residents and businesses alike, making Dunedin more accessible and affordable.

Taking Action for Our Community

I am committed to the People of Otepoti/Dunedin, having a voice for the People. I have stood up and put in submissions for various concerns, the last one being on Parks, reserves, and the Greenbelt, giving feedback on this. I spoke via Zoom to the Councilors, on screen, where I was able to voice the activities of a passionate group of People who are trying to eradicate the pests in and around Dunedin. I am for saving the Greenbelt of Dunedin for future generations; this is one of only 3 Victorian Town belts in the world. So, making sure this is looked after is why I spoke. This is for the future.

Standing Apart for Dunedin

While other candidates share some similar opinions, particularly on debt reduction and inner-city parking, my commitment to the People of Otepoti/Dunedin and my active involvement in community issues sets me apart. I am dedicated to being a strong voice for our city's future.
